Born from the Blackness

I never fear for the darkness,

I'm believing in an energy to harness

and we must see the light,

But only in the shadows can we see the stars

When I came into this maddening world

in the blackness of my mothers womb, I found home And I've been riding for the bright horizon

But if anything the darkness is what I'm designed from

And I've been through the images of journeyman tales

And the righteousness of fighting for it the tooth and nail dividing lines between the knight who wants his holy grail

and the lightning storms that form a tempest till my soul derails

They gave me a prayer, but I wouldn't hold it The writings in the cavern but I couldn't know it Islands in the storm that we hadn't found yet There's a light deep in the forest

And days never burn without night's calling

The light come from the sky to the ocean

Hiding in the depths till we open, a cave of the unspoken

I'll be looking for the wound that's carved into my bones It's my bow and my arrow

Break the Line

So many fear that, the gods have been lost at sea
I gotta a pure and simple image of a man waking up from a falling dream
I have a ball and chain in the depths of my mind, so I'm climbing up another mountain, to seek the lightning
I seek the lightning that grows inside us        

All of my attempts are to find, a long forgotten piece of the holy ghost
Scattered in the winds of a another time
Written into fears that I'll never let go

No I never wanted an authority, But then I gotta lotta love for the  lightning, I'll seek the lightning that calls to guide us   

Skylit moves, illuminate dusty rooms
A cure beyond the grey expanse of the modern mood
Hurricane dreams, burning out of the modern disease
Gonna see us, catch alight, we're gonna cross the line

Here, your running out of space to grow
Yelling out to join all your friends on the holy road

This is how the mind is made, 
you're allowed to hope you can see the day

Each of us a piece of the plan but too many of us have fall asleep
we gotta a pure and innocent nature and and on a path we can be travelling to where we want to be
and I'm running out of energy to fill another prophecy the enemies are buried in deep,
   but I see the lighting I see the lightning that calls to guide us

All around I sense the divine, growing in the weeds of the world I know
We have enough water enough fruit of the vine
For living in a manner that can nourish our soul
So take me to the river where the water runs deep
Now we've gonna rise up into the lighting, I feel the lighting, the gods inside us

Violet Blue, I crawl like a headless fool
A fear of being alive, a fear of having stood
But if I live this truth, then I know that I'll carry this through, your gonna see us catch a light, we're gonna cross the line

Zion

I can open up and see Mount Zion
Even in the darkest night
The light's on, heaven is a mind that's open
Zion is a place inside 

I woke without a fuss, I make a prayer for love
Heart of divine holds me until the morning light comes
Shining through everything, that really matters now
Peace and a Mission to be more than my self
Some other day I may, consider why I can't
Walk in the wilderness with nothing but an empty heart
I throw my dagger high, runaway I got to go
I want to breathe into my life and this flow 

These are the days that I take to my death
And the death hastens with every memory I've left
And I don't remember much but the love and sunsets
And the people that I've gathered so close to my chest 

And if holding onto these things is grasping, 
I'm gonna grasp till the last straw is hanging
With the promises of heaven nonwithstanding
What more is there in this human having

And I will breathe into darkness, until the light is born
Open up my heart and be spiritually strong
My love and thoughts be a golden door

I can open up and see Mount Zion
Even in the darkest night
The light's on, heaven is a mind that's open
Zion is a place inside 

I'm in a fantasy, I've been in a cloudless sky
A million canyons are beneath me but my words must fly
Karma, Serenity, with a sound that makes me cry
As I let the ocean out, the waves break on a stronger mind

And on the underside, it's the beat that makes me move
I touch the ground and feel the spirit pushing forward,
Here is my cross to bear, and I'm on the holy road
Bigger than a mountain is the space in between these words

Another spark I know this fire will grow
And this time I know I feel it from my head to my toes
cos even in this night we can feel tomorrow
now within this sacred time we have the best chance of all
To balance all the colours of the painting
and make heavenly music from our daydreams
So forget the broken shallows of the famous
We're becoming more the essence of our name-sake

Prayer to the Elementals

Pull out a pen, I got to brandish again, got a new sense of burning out the candle both ends
time for the frantic elements to get up off the fence, this is my entrance            
have you ever noticed the pattern, that no matter how many fears you don't act on
There's still a chasm, your whole body's made of only atoms, but wholeness comes from putting them to action
I've been living in the mind for too long, [breath] times ticking down like a roadside bomb and the the one's that I met have been gone to long
Is there anything left? is there anyone?
But there's a way from the bonds of the past, and I've been blessed with  a windy path,  time is upon me to clear my thoughts, so I know less but I know my heart

And I pray, I'm gonna be here till this night is won
and I pray, I'm gonna feel the brightest rays of the rising sun
and I pray, I'm gonna live for the fire, coming in and out of my soul
so I pray to the elementals, yes I pray to the elementals

We have to broaden our horizon to win
when you find sacred fire you seek the learning
with the faith of all humanity coming to nothing
may the fire keep us burning

and when I'm up in the sky of the father, or lying down in the holy ground of our mother
and I'll be there to discover that I can, begin again 

 And I pray, I'm gonna be here till this night is won
and I pray, I'm gonna feel the brightest rays of the rising sun
and I pray, I'm gonna live for the fire, coming in and out of of my soul
so I pray to the elementals, yes I pray to the elementals
